What do you do?
I’m a front-end engineer. I’ve worked with some of the best Canadian startups: unbounce.com, kik.com, fabric-engine.com and attachments.me helping them get a brand new web identity, release new UI and features or get a part of their website optimized for mobile and high-traffic usage.

Where did you go to school?
B.Sc. Mathematics, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University

What’s the next event that you’ll be attending if people want to meet you in person?
I’ll definitely be at the Facebook Developers World HACK - Vancouver. We’ll see after that, but feel free to drop me a line.

Where are you from?
Originally from Ukraine, lived in Tokyo and most recently Toronto.

How did you come to Vancouver?
First time – by plane in January 2012. That was easy. Second time was an amazing road trip from Toronto to Vancouver with my friends. Very well documented here: bielousov.com/tag/trans-canada/

Sushiyama on main – amazing sushi.

Interesting Vancouver store?
Our Community Bikes is a really great place to get your bike tuned up and fixed if anything. That is, if you prefer to do it yourself – they have all the tools

Favourite Vancouver Activity
Hiking. Definitely check out Joffre and Elfin lakes!
